6 WOMEN TO ROW A BOAT ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN!
As President of JOY, I get to meet some fascinating people. This morning I had the blessing of meeting with Andrea Quigley in Boulder, Colorado. What an incredible woman!
Andrea is skpper of the 1st all female team to attempt to row a boat (yes, I said ROW a boat!) across the Atlantic Ocean to help in the fight against Child Trafficking.

JOY International fully supports and endorses this incredible journey. This is a prime example of something I have shared in the past – the importance of all of us working together to fight what I believe is THE worst, most heinous, evil crime perpetrated against children in our world today.
Although JOY International will not be a recipient of the funds raised, Andrea and the Row For Freedom Team have chosen 2 excellent non-profit organizations to help. One is ECPAT-UK. ECPAT is an acronym for End Child Prostitution, Pornography and Trafficking. They do wonderful work, especially in the area of educating the public of the plight of trafficked children. The other organization that will benefit is also an excellent organization that is fighting this evil: The A21 Campaign, which provides victim relief, perpetrator accountability, victim after-care and structural prevention to victims of human trafficking. For more info go to www.thea21campaign.org
Alone, we can do something to fight the sexual exploitation of children – but working together we accomplish so much more. We MUST be willing to work together to fight this evil!
