Ambassadors for JOY
JOY Ambassador Training: Every Friday, March 6th-April 10, 2026, 8 pm EST / 6 pm MST
JOY Ambassador Training is a six-week online certification course for anyone who wants to confidently and accurately represent JOY International as a speaker, advocate, or community ambassador. Through weekly classes, participants will gain a deeper understanding of human trafficking and exploitation, including the growing threat of sextortion and online grooming.
In this training, you will learn how to:
Define human trafficking clearly and correct common myths and misconceptions.
Understand how trafficking happens, who is most vulnerable, and why exploitation persists.
Recognize grooming patterns, coercion tactics, and the realities of sextortion and online exploitation.
Explain JOY International’s mission and programs, and how our work supports prevention, freedom, healing, and empowerment.
Share JOY’s impact with dignity through trauma-informed, ethical storytelling.
Communicate confidently in churches, schools, and community settings, including how to respond to common questions.
Classes meet online every Friday, March 6 through April 10, at 8:00 PM Eastern. Sessions will be recorded, but because this course is designed to form consistent, well-prepared ambassadors, participants may miss no more than one live class to graduate. Weekly reflection homework will support learning, and the course concludes with a simple capstone that ensures each participant is ready to share JOY’s message clearly, responsibly, and hope-filled.
